I sent these two fellows off this morning. One to Second Grade and another to Kindergarten. Each ventured off to a different school at a different time, yet I sent them off with the same message.
Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you.
All we want and hope for is that you’ll both to be happy and enjoy school.
If you don’t know an answer, do not hang your head low. Keep your head held high. Always do your best. Take your time and try again if you need to.
Believe in yourself.
As long as you’re happy, try, always do your best and enjoy learning, Mommy and Daddy can’t ask for anything else.
You make us both proud. We love you.
Here’s to what I hope is a triumphant year for both of them.
Hey Jennifer!
Not sure if you remember me but I spent a summer watching the boys for you the summer before you moved to GA. The boys are beautiful and to this day I still talk about them and you and all that I learned from you. Please e-mail me sometime so we can catch up.
Heather
Oh Jen…such great wisdom to both of those precious boys!
That is great advice! Thanks for sharing and reminding us all.
Your boys are so precious and so are your words to them!
